How can we help?

Everything you need to go from your first answer to an assistant that knows your business. Can't find what you need? Email support@npln.ai.

Getting started

Napoleon turns what you know about your business into a plugin for your AI assistant. You need two things:

  • A Napoleon account. The free plan is enough to build your first plugin.
  • Claude on a Pro, Max or Team plan, or ChatGPT, to install the plugin in.

It helps to have your website address and a few documents at hand: a price list, service descriptions, typical customer emails, your terms or an FAQ. Anything you would hand a new employee.

Then you go through six steps, at your own pace:

  1. Tell Napoleon about your business: website, documents and a guided interview.
  2. Review your business map: check how Napoleon understood your business and correct anything.
  3. Pick what to automate: ideas ranked by hours saved, effort and risk.
  4. Design each workflow: answer a few precise questions per workflow.
  5. Install your plugin in Claude or ChatGPT.
  6. Improve it as your business changes.

Ready? Start a new business.

How the interview works

The interview works like a conversation with an experienced operations consultant. Napoleon asks one question at a time and explains why it matters.

  • Type or talk. Answer in writing, or use the microphone and speak naturally. Check the text before you send it.
  • Short answers are fine. Where it helps, Napoleon offers suggested answers you can pick from.
  • Skip anything. Not sure, or prefer not to say? Skip the question. Napoleon notes what is still missing and may come back to it later.
  • Stop any time. Every answer is saved. Come back from your dashboard and continue where you left off.
  • Watch the progress bar. It shows how well Napoleon understands your business so far. You can finish whenever you are happy with it.

Napoleon asks about the things people tend to forget: exceptions, approvals, who is responsible, and where your information lives. Those details are what make your assistant safe and useful. Everything you say ends up on your business map, which you review and can correct in plain words.

The interview works in English and German.

Installing in Claude

You need Claude on a Pro, Max or Team plan.

  1. In Napoleon, open the Install step of your business and download the Claude version of your plugin.
  2. In Claude, open Customize → Plugins → Add → Upload plugin and choose the file you downloaded.
  3. Connect the tools your workflows use (for example your email or calendar) under Customize → Connectors. The Install step lists which ones you need.
  4. Start a new chat and ask: What can you do for my business?

Your assistant always asks before it sends, pays or deletes anything, even after you connect your tools.

Installing in ChatGPT or Codex

  1. In Napoleon, open the Install step of your business and download the ChatGPT / Codex version of your plugin.
  2. Unzip the file (double-click it).
  3. Open the Terminal app, type bash followed by a space, drag the install-codex.sh file from the unzipped folder into the Terminal window, and press Enter. The INSTALL.md file in the folder shows the same steps.
  4. Restart the ChatGPT or Codex app.
  5. Open Plugins, choose the Personal marketplace and install your plugin.
  6. Connect the tools your workflows use under the app's settings (Apps or Plugins), then start a new chat and ask: What can you do for my business?

Stuck on the Terminal step? Email us. We're happy to walk you through it.

Updating your plugin

Your business changes, and your assistant should keep up. When you add a service, change a price or adjust a rule:

  1. Update your business map or workflow in Napoleon. Napoleon shows when your installed plugin is out of date.
  2. Build a new version on the Install step. Each build counts toward your monthly plugin builds.
  3. Install the new version the same way as the first one. If the old version is still listed in Claude or ChatGPT, remove it so your assistant only uses the latest one.

Use the Improve step to note which workflows work well and which need changes. Napoleon takes your notes into account the next time you build.

Safety and your data

  • Approval first. Every workflow is designed so your assistant asks before it sends, pays or deletes anything. You approve, edit or cancel.
  • Your rules are built in. Approval limits, things it must never do, and who is responsible are written into each workflow.
  • What Napoleon stores. Your answers, the documents you upload and details from your website, so it can build your plugin. It uses them for nothing else.
  • Where your plugin runs. In your own Claude or ChatGPT. Your email, calendar and other tools are connected there, by you. Napoleon does not sit in between.
  • Deleting data. Delete a business from your dashboard at any time. To delete your whole account and all of its data, email support@npln.ai.

Please don't paste passwords, card numbers or other secrets into the interview. Napoleon never needs them.

Plans and billing

  • Free to start. The free plan covers one business and a few plugin builds a month. See all plans on the pricing section.
  • Monthly allowances. Plugin builds and your AI allowance (used for interviews, maps and workflow design) reset at the start of each month.
  • Upgrade, change or cancel on the Plan & billing page. Payments are handled securely by Stripe. Under Manage billing you can update your payment method, download invoices or cancel.
  • Cancelling. You keep your plan until the end of the period you paid for, then move to the free plan. Your businesses stay in your account.
  • Your AI assistant is separate. Your Claude or ChatGPT subscription is billed by them, not by Napoleon.
